Why is Kindle Starter so cheap? Is something missing?
Kindle Starter is lean by design — eBook only, no paperback printing, basic cover. That's WHY it's ₹2,499. Nothing is missing — you get a properly published eBook with ISBN, live on Kindle and Google Play, 100% royalty share, and a dashboard. The savings come from not printing physical copies and not handling paperback distribution. If you want paperback, Get Published is the right tier (₹3,999).
Can I add paperback printing later?
Yes. Add the paperback add-on (₹2,500) at any time — gets you paperback distribution to Amazon and Flipkart, 5 free author copies, and a 2nd ISBN. Many Kindle Starter authors start with eBook to test the market, then add paperback if early sales justify it. The ISBN allocated for your eBook stays as is — paperback gets its own.
